Service Providers
We work with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering our programs, including:
- Behave Health — our certification tracking and bed-availability platform. Behave Health processes certification application data and tracks facility metrics (such as available beds) on our behalf. Behave Health is contractually required to use this information only to provide services to AARR and to NARR for national bed-availability reporting.
- Payment processor — donation payment information is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store payment card details on our systems.
- Website and analytics providers — we use standard website hosting and analytics tools that may collect basic usage data.
NARR
As a NARR state affiliate, we share aggregated facility-level data (such as the number of certified residences and available beds) with NARR for national reporting purposes. We do not share individually identifiable personal information with NARR.
Grant Funders and Government Agencies
We report to our grant funders as required by our grant agreements. Where those agreements require individual-level data, we share only the minimum information necessary and only in a form permitted by the applicable grant agreement. We do not share individually identifiable SUD or health records with any funder.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of AARR, our users, or the public.

Federal grant regulations generally require retention of grant records for a minimum of three years following the close of a grant period. Certification records are retained for the duration of the certification relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter.
